I know it’s only January and we just got a fresh start and all, but I sometimes notice this exhaustion creep in. Are you already feeling a little burnt out as well?
In the midst of the constant workload, challenging relationship dynamic, cooking/dishes on repeat, and never-ending email responding…
Here is the one mistake you cannot afford to make.
NOT attuning to yourself.
Yep, what’s really exhausting you is when you’re not in alignment with your highest values.
When we think of burnout, we often think of exhaustion from work.
But we forget that the real burnout is the lack of an ongoing relationship with ourselves throughout the day.
It happens when you say yes to that lunch date you reaalllly don’t want to go to. When you filter yourself to make that outspoken family member comfy. Or you act differently to get that one co-worker to like you. But c’mon, there's gotta be a better way.
There is an incongruence between your truth and the way you act. That feeling of ingenuity... it sucks your energy!
Are you tired of being someone you're not? Changing your appearance, the way you speak, the way you act at the expense of your own wellbeing?
My fellow n’betweener, we are sooo accustomed to being what others expect us to be. This needs to stop.
So, my first question is how are you being incongruent to yourself? What are you doing that feels ingenuine?
And now let me ask you, when do you feel your most authentic self? When are you living in your highest values? What are you doing? What environment are you in? What people are you around?
