The BEST playground on Earth 🌏

When did you last P L A Y ? 🤸🏼‍♂️🎈

Like when you were a little kid. Do you remember that feeling of freedom?

I miss real playtime…

A chance to use our imaginations and explore different worlds. One day we could be a doctor, the next we’re a pop star traveling on tour.

But somehow, we got older and the spark dimmed. I don’t know about you, but as I aged, I felt the pressure to follow a certain script and it wasn’t as FUN as the ones I made up as a kid.

You may be holding yourself back from following that dream you’ve always had. You keep getting glimpses of it but dismiss them.

It’s time we bring back playtime like we experienced as little kids.

In my opinion, there is only ONE playground that can hold all the complexities of an n'betweener.

It's THE most multicultural, multifaceted city in the world.

Got any guesses?

🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

Yep — New York City!

For me, NYC is the ultimate n'betweener city. Hands down.

It’s a place to explore all versions of myself. It’s a playground where I get to experiment with different expressions of myself without feeling judged. I want you to have that experience.

Join me and other n’betweeners for a liberating weekend retreat in the Big Apple.

I was deeply moved by a conversation with my biz partner, @amber_koonce. We talked about how NYC is a special place for so many n'betweeners.

“New York is a place I can be bold without standing out,” she said 🥹

Amber is now living in NYC, living her longtime n’betweener dream.

So maybe you’re not looking to move to NYC, but picture this: a weekend retreat in a diverse and bustling city surrounded by friends who are also looking to make a change in their lives. We get to laugh, grow, and explore a beautiful city together.

You don’t have to imagine it because it’s happening.

✈️ Join Amber and I in NYC.

I’m so excited about this experience, but I think it’d be even better if you were there with us. If you need some extra inspiration, read this sweet sentiment Amber had to say about NYC:

"New York City invites me to explore all versions of myself. It’s a place where I can be bold without standing out.

🔥 I can dress how I want and feel confident.

🔥 I can be Black and feel confident.

🔥 I can pursue new hobbies and feel confident.

🔥 I can put myself out there to meet new people and feel confident.

🔥 I can be anyone I want to be and feel confident.

NYC is a place where I feel inspired by others. Seeing people express their quirks, no matter how odd, is so beautiful to me. It gives me butterflies and sometimes even brings tears to my eyes. There’s such a sense of humanity in NYC.

In NYC, I feel like I’m seen truly as me in all of my n'betweeness. No cover-ups, no masks, just me.

It’s like everyone I encounter can see through to my core. The connections I’ve made there have felt so pure.

It’s a place that energizes me, and I love the person I am when I’m there. It’s like I’m giving myself the love that I held back for so long. It feels like my present self is giving my past self a great big hug and saying, ‘Look where we made it. Who knew this life could be possible?’”

I mean, c'mon, that just goes straight to the heart 🥹🥹🥹🥹

See you in New York in 2025?

Hugs from 🍎

Nora
