My limitation as a therapist 😳

Now let me be real for a second.

As a therapist, I do my best to hold a space of support and guidance for my clients.

But here is the thing, there is a limitation to my role...

There’s a power differential that inherently exists in the therapeutic relationship. Boundaries set in place. Self-disclosure is limited. This is necessary to maintain the container and allow healing and transformation to exist. But clients can often feel like something is missing… 🤔

Can you guess what that is?

I cannot provide the support that only peers provide. That special kinship, you know?

While I can offer empathy, psychoeducation, professional insight, skills, and strategies for healing, there are some aspects of the human experience that are best understood and felt through shared, lived community experiences.

There’s something magical about hearing someone else’s story and realizing you’re not alone in your experience. When we hear others speak their truth, we often see parts of ourselves reflected in their words. It's this beautiful mirror, a powerful moment of connection and validation.

In a supportive community, we find kinship with peers who can say:

  • “Me TOOOO” 🥹🥹

  • “Omg I totally get you”

  • “Yea, I’ve been there, I understand you”

  • 😂😅 (that laughter or sigh of recognition)

It’s those “me too” experiences that remind us we’re part of a larger tapestry of shared human experiences.

This peer support is crucial because it helps break down feelings of isolation, shame and stuckness. When we’re surrounded by others who are navigating similar paths, it reinforces the message that we are not alone. We gain strength from each other’s resilience and wisdom, and help each other move to the next stage.

This is why I created a place for just that. A space where collective healing and transformation is at the center, and where your different n'betweener worlds meet.

This sacred space is called The nest ✨

It’s a 6 month hybrid program that helps n'betweeners get unstuck and take the leap - all while being held in community.

There is a way you naturally sync up in the right community. It almost feels like something clicks inside your body.

If you’re looking to find that felt kinship, you don't want to miss out on this special community.

Think about how contagious laughter can be or how comforting a hug feels. This syncing happens naturally in kinlike group settings, enhancing our sense of connection and belonging. It’s a reminder that we’re wired to connect and that these connections are vital to our well-being.

Want to get a piece of that magic? Join us here 💗

I’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be to heal in a collective space. This is why I created The nest to help n’betweeners believe in themselves and move through transformation.

Two more weeks before the early bird disappears ⏳

Get your spot now and be part of a real meaningful community.
