My golden mental health tip
Have you done everything you need to do this week?
Have you finished that work project? Did you buy that birthday gift? Did you text that friend? Did you make that doctor's appointment?
I know I’m stressing you out, but that’s my point.
You have a million different responsibilities and you expect to accomplish every single one of them…(!!)
It’s unrealistic.
It’s Mental Health Month and I think it’s time you and I have a little heart to heart.
I know you expect so much of yourself. I know you think you have to get it right every single time. But it’s true, you do have so many responsibilities and I don’t want to downplay their weight, but you’ve got to take a breather!
Seriously, right now. Let’s breathe. We can do it together. Breathe in for 1..2..3..4 and out for 1..2..3..4.
So here’s my golden mental health tip for you:
You are not responsible for it all.
Think about it. It's silly to believe we can be 100% successful in all aspects of our life at the same time.
It's capitalism brainwash 🤯
It’s like as soon as you’re doing well in one area, you let up in another area and then beat yourself up for doing so.
Maybe you’ve started a new project and the time you choose to dedicate to that means less time nurturing your relationships. That can be tough to manage but it’s not a bad thing! We can’t be everywhere at once.
So while you’re prioritizing all those tasks you must accomplish, remember to prioritize yourself. Commit to the things that make you happy right now. That fills your cup because that is what keeps you going. It’s an energetic investment.

Take a look at your life. Where are you succeeding right now? How will you choose to celebrate?
Here’s to practicing giving ourselves grace today and every day.
Hugs to you.
