Working with marginalized n’betweeners has absolutely changed my life.
I used to think that being a therapist was out of reach, that it was an occupation only for straight, cis, white men. As a queer woman of color, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do this important work.
More than anything, I want to share how I overcame the feelings of imposter to emerge into the practice that I’ve built—psychotherapy for marginalized individuals—creating a space for people who know the pain of oppression and who have been silenced, minimized, and erased.
