Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Constantly having to prove your worth?
Self-awareness is the path towards liberation.

Drowning in self-doubt?
You don’t have to explain yourself.
Find the unedited you,
An anti-oppression online course that turns pain into purpose.

Are you tired of…
overworking
overexplaining
overthinking
overextending
overcompensating?
This course is designed
specifically for you —
an n’betweener.
You’re BIPOC. You’re a woman.
You’re an immigrant. You’re multicultural.
You’re non-binary. You’re trans.
You’re queer. You’re poly.
You’re multi-faith. You’re spiritual.
You’re anxious. You’re neurodivergent.
You’re a combination of multiple identities.
You’re not just one thing.
You’re tired of overworking yourself to prove your worth
You’re not alone.
→ You live n’between experiences of oppression and privilege.
→ You regularly code-switch to navigate multiple complex identities, yet still feel misunderstood and alone.
→ You’re ready to invest in your true self, not in who others want you to be.
But here’s the problem:
You face a major threat to your mental health.
It’s called: Internalized Oppression (IO).
As an n’betweener you’re subject to constant oppression and you naturally begin to believe these messages of unworthiness.
The world is hard on you, but you’re even harder on yourself.
You have lost sight of your worth. You think:
→ “I’m not smart enough for this job”
→ “My partner deserves someone better than me”
→ “I’m trying so hard, but I feel like I just can’t get it right”
You spiral and the desire to achieve perfection fogs your understanding of yourself.
The external pressure becomes so great that you silence your voice within.
Silence the outside noise & come closer to yourself with this transformative 6-week course.
“I found my voice!”
“I found the courage to make a big change in my life and to know with 100% confidence I can do it.
This course has given me a greater awareness of life around me. So many little things I “tolerated” in professional settings, friendships and relationships; because of a lifetime of compromise I didn’t even realize I was doing. My relationships have been stronger and my clarity in what I want in life is stronger. It has sought me to take pause and listen to myself and trust myself.
Jasmine Schimmel
she|her
For the first time I’m not doubting myself and limiting myself.
I’m allowing myself to dream freely and justify and explain myself. I am worthy of dreaming.”
If you’re constantly drained, following the mass and confused on what to do.
I know exactly how you feel.
n’between
IS RIGHT FOR YOU
If you live ANY marginalized experience.
You mold yourself into who you think you should be, rather than who you are.
Whether you’re…
→ A Woman of Color who is ready to tear down imposter syndrome and let go of that perfectionist mindset to ensure an unapologetic life.
→ A Latinx child of immigrants who refuses to abandon your dreams and is committed to reclaiming your language and culture that has been taken from you.
→ A Queer or Trans person who is exhausted from hiding and ready to gain the power to be YOU to your family or workplace.
→ A Multicultural or mixed race polyglot who has been excluded and yearns to belong and is dedicated to taking your life back from those who have silenced your voice.
The process of coming closer to ourselves is painful.
This course is a space specifically created to support you, and find community.
“n’between helped me feel seen, truly seen”
“Living and working in predominantly white majority spaces, I had no idea the extent to which I had been code switching and diluting myself to be more palatable to those around me. Having a group of peers with similar experiences validated me on a deep level. I saw bits of myself reflected in other human beings. I saw that I wasn’t the only one. I saw I wasn’t “wrong”. That experience was invaluable.
n’between confirmed for me that even though I’m often the only person of my experience in my immediate surroundings,
I am not alone.
It’s so easy to get caught up in my every day bubble and forget that so much exists outside of it. Seeing and speaking with like-minded and like-experienced people has helped me to remember that and given me confidence in knowing I am NOT an outlier, an outsider, or an other.
I am more confident in my instincts.
Eunjoo Han
she|her & they|them
I know that all the ways I don’t conform to white, cis, hetero standards, are actually powerful and important. So powerful and important that they are appropriated, suppressed, and fought against. These things don’t scare me as much as they used to because I recognize this fact.
The best, most fulfilling thing I could do for myself – is to use those powers. To lean into those differences and let them shape my path and purpose.”
By the end of this
course, you will:
✓ Learn how Oppression impacts your Mental Health, and gain the tools on to use this awareness to empower yourself.
✓ Understand the roots of Internalized Oppression, how it shows up in your life, unconsciously takes your power, and keeps you from expressing the unedited you.
✓ Transform your deepest pain into your truest purpose by gaining a new paradigm to make space fo yourself in all aspects of your life.
✓ Master your unique superpowers as an n’betweener to recognize that in experiences of oppression, you can find and use your strength
✓ Have the courage and gain the tools to invest in yourself, claim what you want, and achieve what you never thought you could while growing in the process.
✓ Join a community of n’betweeners who hold, see, support, and reflect your true self.
✓ Find the gift in your complexity rather than the pressure to be perfect by creating boundaries and discovering actionable steps to lead a fulfilling life.
“I got a new job with a badass n’betweener boss!”
I have worked with Nora as a therapist for years and deeply trust her. She has a unique way of making me feel seen, understood, and safe to be vulnerable. So when she told me about n’between, I knew it was something I needed!
I had been feeling very stuck.
My job was no longer serving me, but my fear of making a move was paralyzing. I was exhausted and wanted to take control of my life, so I signed up for n’between.
In the first week, I set an intention to find a new job.
The tools Nora shared in our weekly classes and the support and encouragement of my fellow n’betweeners gave me so much confidence. I landed an interview, and prepared for it differently: trusting myself, listening to an empowering playlist, and dancing.

By the final class, I had a new job with a badass n'betweener boss.
Nora’s passion as a facilitator, all of the laughter, and the power of being with a community of fellow n’betweeners was so special and transformational.

“The biggest win in joining n'between was being in community with other n'betweeners. The course provides a safe space to share the impacts of daily oppression and celebrate our journey together.
n'between delivers a roadmap for transformation. I realized that every oppressive action by others has served to strengthen my innate power.
I have learned how to identify the lies I'm telling myself, challenge my limiting beliefs, and tell myself a new story about my own worth. This is my ongoing journey, and through n'between, I have the tools to change the course of my future. Look out, world, I know my worth!”
-
Sierra Jeter (they|them & she|her)
“As an afro-indigenous gender fluid individual, I have often felt alone and misunderstood in society. n'between helped me to understand deeply that I am, in fact, not alone and that there are other n'betweeners like me who are navigating multiple complex identities.
I can heal my own internalized oppression by coming closer to my gifts, innate power, and all of the skills that are unique to me.
The Cycle of Worthiness has also helped me to better understand, name and claim my purpose, and that we can transform our pain, trauma and experience with oppression into power and peace of mind. “

Heatherlyn Hoffman (she|her)
“The work I did in n’between was difficult and necessary and fruitful.
This series helped me recognize my power and begin planning for the next phase of my life.
Being with other people that understood my story and I theirs was very validating and meaningful.
Thank you Nora”

“I’m worthy of betting on myself to build a business that is aligned with my values”
My biggest wins is that I learned frameworks that helped name some of what I was experiencing as an n’betweener. I connected with others in the community who experienced similar things really helped validate my feelings.
I realized that Internalized Oppression has conditioned me to believe that I need to work harder to prove my worth and that perfectionism is what's needed to thrive in a work environment.
I now walk into spaces believing and knowing that I am worthy
because I exist and that beauty lies in the journey.

“Joining n’between was one of the most important and healthy decisions I made!
Having been stuck in a cycle with no hope to transform and shift my mind, n’between taught me about the Cycle of Worthiness and it offered me tools to be compassionate for where I was at and to take risks that encourage growth and healing.
I was amazed by Nora’s pedagogy and care for us n’betweeners and for her patience and dedication.
This course changed my perception of my worth and life, and I feel I can take steps toward transformation with more levity and care. “
-
J. M. (she|her)
“n'between was a cathartic experience that opened me up to a community of people experiencing the joy and challenges of living n'between.
I was enlivened and touched by how vulnerably other participants shared and got a lot out of hearing about their experiences. Specifically, I was able to begin to distinguish the cycle of imposter syndrome I had trapped myself in.
The outcome of this heightened awareness was saying yes to an investor in my business, a scenario I could have only dreamed about in the past.
I walked into that partnership feeling worthy and grounded, a direct result of my time with Nora and other n'betweeners.
Nora is a passionate, affirming, vulnerable and confident guide who uses her own experiences as a way to model for the community. I'm so glad I was a part of this cohort. “

Module 1: The Four Lies
To live in the space n’between is to experience a unique kind of pain that few others will understand. We will begin to turn that pain into power, together.
This module will set the foundation for understanding what it means to be an n’betweener and the lies we are told about ourselves. We’ll start to develop a language to process our experience. We’ll also explore a set of ideologies and theories that will deepen our understanding of oppression.
Highlights:
◯ Define what it means to live n’between oppression and privilege. Create a sense of identity and community with people who see and support you on your own journey.
◯ Examine the Cycle of Worthiness—the process of moving from oppression to worthiness and purpose. Discover the nonlinear nature of shifting pain into opportunity, beginning with an exploration of what you want to transform in your life.
◯ Unpack the 4 I’s of oppression—Ideological, Institutional, Interpersonal, and Internalized— with a focus on Internalized Oppression and the sneaky ways it operates.
-
Module 2: Your Limiting Beliefs
This module will examine Internalized Oppression as the lies that we’ve been told, and understand how they impact our sense of self-worth.
It’s time to translate these into an understanding of the limiting beliefs we create for ourselves and how we react to them.
From these experiences, we can learn how to come closer to our Innate Power. We’ll explore the different forms of power and learn how to recognize our superpowers as n’betweeners.
Highlights:
◯ Connect Internalized Oppression to self-doubt and harmful beliefs that bring us experiences of chronic shame. Identify this as pollution that clouds our sense of self-worth that causes us to mold and change who we are.
◯ Distinguish between the 5 types of power—with an emphasis on Personal Power from “Right Use of Power” (work from Cedar Barstow). Recognize that experiences of oppression are opportunities to strengthen our Innate Power.
◯ A Bonus section with examples of 24 personas we shapeshift into to stray from our authentic selves.
-
Module 3: Waking Up!
Equipped with a deeper understanding of the theoretical foundations of oppression, we can begin to experience a moment of awakening—our “a-ha!” moment. We’ll learn to strengthen our understanding of the little moments that leads to finding our worth.
This module will explore how lack of representation and belief in ourselves lowers our self-worth, and the importance to see people like ourselves in positions we aspire to be in.
Highlights:
◯ Recognize why representation really matters and the damage caused by consuming dominant media. Understand the impact of the negative absence of not seeing our experiences, pain, and success represented in the world around us.
◯ Identify instances of representation to realize its importance in experiencing validation. From there, we can establish role models to visualize an abundant life for ourselves.
◯ Through use of mindfulness practices, reflect on the Cycle of Worthiness to identify a time we truly believed in ourselves which will support us in claiming what we want and all that we want to become.
-
Module 4: Investing in You
Let’s get to action! Growth requires loss. This module will invite you to identify what you need to let go of to realize your purpose, and take concrete steps towards investing in yourself.
Together, we will explore the process of transformation by letting go and taking risks.
You’ll generate ways to invest in yourself, and lay the groundwork for the gifts that you will share with your community.
Highlights:
◯ Recognize people, practices and habits that no longer serve you on your mission to creating a better life.
◯ You’ll learn the deep practice of letting go. This process does not mean to get rid off, but to trust that for new opportunities to arrive, and to remove what’s not working.
◯ Find the beauty in taking risk as it is a destined path to personal growth. We’ll contemplate, “What actions scare you but have the potential to make your life better?”
-
Module 5: Trusting Self
Yay! You’ve taken the risk. Now feelings of doubt and regret have probably snuck in. In this module, we’ll identify what Brené Brown calls the vulnerability hangover. It creeps up when we decide to invest in ourselves, it often feels painfully intense but is an inevitable part of the process.
We’ll also learn how to reframe our mindset to move from feelings of scarcity to abundance. This will invite a conscious awareness of how we hold ourselves back and support us to transform oppression into power.
Highlights:
◯ Learn how to heal the three pain points of taking risk— Self-sabotage, shame and imposter syndrome. You’ll get tools to help move through these when it happens.
◯ Shift from a scarcity mentality to one of abundance. Learn how exactly your scarcity mentality is showing up in your life and how to reframe it.
◯ Escape the shame and the guilt we feel when investing in ourselves. Reclaim the right to pursue happiness and recognize we deserve the time and energy needed to thrive.
-
Module 6: True You
Our journey has carried us across the cycle of not believing in ourselves to envision and acting on our worth.
When n’betweeners come together we develop the courage and sacred power to invest in ourselves and overcome the obstacles along the way. In this module, we’ll more fully step into our authentic selves to be seen and heard within our community.
You’ll realize the end of this course is actually the horizon of what’s to come.
Highlights:
◯ Visualize your abundant life and by reflecting on who you actually are and what you really want. You’ll come closer to yourself.
◯ Become aware of your authentic self and the freedom that comes with it. Shed the burden of conformity and share your voice, because your story matters and no one can take it from you.
◯ Process that true community requires depth and investment. Cultivate relationships and share your experience with people who are capable of making you feel seen and heard.

Finding your Power!
Powerlessness shows up for us as we navigate systems of oppression as marginalized beings. It is therefore crucial to recognize that there is a way out, that we all have personal power.
Every time n’betweeners try to mold ourselves into the dominant narrative we give away our power.
We underestimate ourselves and we deprive ourselves of our unique gifts.
In this LIVE training, you'll learn how to make right use of power as an n’betweener. You’ll also gain tools to help you identify and recognize your innate power. This workshop will include a mix of lecture and discussion formats.
Cedar Barstow is a leading expert in understanding the complexity around power.
She is the Founder and Director of the Right Use of Power™ Institute, and has been designing, developing, and teaching this approach since 1994.

Trauma & Recovery
In this workshop Tara guides our bodies to heal our trauma.
If parents abuse their role power, they traumatize their children. If systems of oppression embolden people with privilege to internalize dominance over marginalized folx, oppression is trauma for marginalized folx.
n'betweeners have a unique form of oppression trauma, due to not fitting neatly into prepackaged identity boxes.
Therefore, we need unique ways to recover from the oppression traumas we face.

The Body Knows the Way Home
As n’betweeners we are constantly balancing our own truth against the expectations of others. It’s confusing when we wish to live one way, but feel the weight of living up to the expectations of others. After a lifetime of code switching and searching for safety in different spaces, you feel burnt out
How do you find your way home to your truth? How do you escape the boxes that weren’t made to hold all of you?
In this workshop we ask our bodies to show us the way home. Through somatic awareness and embodied self inquiry we reach into our deepest knowing to help us discover what is truly you apart from who you have been taught to be.

“n'betweeners are amazing, powerful, and brilliant”
n’between taught me how to recognize when limiting beliefs are coming up in conversation with myself and when they are present, to listen to what lies I am believing and telling myself.
Nora’s authenticity and honesty overflows in her classes, offering herself to the space in a humble and whole way.
Since n’between I have taken so many small risks in my life that I would have never thought meaningful enough to take before. I am saying one or two things new things in conversations with my family and loves that have allowed me to speak to and from my own sense of worthiness, including speaking to or honoring theirs as well!
n'betweeners are amazing, powerful, and brilliant, and after the class, it’s clear to me that many more people than I realized are confronting, interacting with and struggling with the impacts of living as an n’betweener, specifically the harm that’s derived from internalized oppression (IO).
Incarnación
they/them/ellx
As a social justice and anti-oppression facilitator, I’m continually surprised by the shifts to my personal mindset and sense of self since diving more deeply into IO. I am now understanding that IO does have direct and ongoing power in our lives but that we also have the personal and collective worth to reclaim the power in ourselves.
Still unsure?
Give n’between a 14-day risk-free chance if you’re inspired by any the following:
You want to stop giving your power away.
◯ Whether you feel your existence is constantly being compromised because of your identity, there isn’t a space meant to accommodate you, or you’re exhausted from feeling like you don’t belong—n’between is for you.
◯ You don’t have to continue feeling unsafe, unheard, or unseen anymore. You don’t have to act from a place of disempowerment. You are fully welcomed here in the n’between. It may take some work, but you deserve this investment in your self-worth.
◯ That’s why you’re motivated to make a lasting change in your life, supported by the safety of the n’between community. What you learn here will go beyond the length of this course, fundamentally transforming who you are.

You belong in the space n’between.
I cannot wait to welcome you to the space n'between for the next 6 weeks starting March 21st.
Working with marginalized n’betweeners has absolutely changed my life.
I used to think that being a therapist was out of reach, that it was an occupation only for straight, cis, white men. As a queer woman of color, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do this important work.
More than anything, I want to share how I overcame the feelings of imposter to emerge into the practice that I’ve built—psychotherapy for marginalized individuals—creating a space for people who know the pain of oppression and who have been silenced, minimized, and erased.
Should you join me on this journey, I personally guarantee that within the 6-week course you will realize you’re not alone, and find the power and gifts of living with internalized oppression.
We’re capable of living a better life and we have the power to ignite it.
I am here to help you reclaim what is yours. You are strong, you hold power, you have a voice, and you deserve to feel abundant.
Hugs and Gratitude,
