I know it’s only January and we just got a fresh start and all, but sometimes exhaustion can creep in. 

In the midst of the constant workload, spiraling anxious thoughts, challenging relationship dynamics, cooking/dishes on repeat, and never-ending email responding…

Here is the one mistake you cannot afford to make👇

NOT attuning to yourself.

Emotional attunement is being aware of ourselves. It's the ability to deeply listen to ourselves and sense what we need. 

What’s really exhausting you is when you’re not in alignment with what most matters to you.

When we think of burnout, we often think of exhaustion from work.

The real burnout is the lack of an ongoing relationship with ourselves throughout the day.

It happens when you say yes to that lunch date you really don’t want to go to. When you filter yourself to make that outspoken family member comfy. Or you act differently to get that one co-worker to like you. But there is a better way.

There is an incongruence between your truth and the way you act. That feeling of ingenuity sucks your energy.

Are you tired of being someone you're not? Changing your appearance, the way you speak, the way you act at the expense of your own wellbeing?

Let's shift this n'betweener pattern of being what others expect us to be.

Here is my first question: when are you most misattuned to yourself? What moments are you ingenuine, and not caring for what you are needing?

And now let me ask you, when do you feel most YOU?  What are you doing? What environment are you in? What people are you around?

You deserve to break from this divergence between who you are and who you think we should be. 

Get clear on what really matters to you. Take the time to check in with yourself.

Don’t let the so-called burnout bring you down. You’ve got this and you will get through this week, this month, this situation by being your badass self.
