Scared of happiness? 😮💨
Here is something interesting:
The most difficult emotional experience is often not fear nor sadness.
It’s J O Y.
When we feel happy, we feel closer to the idea of losing it.
Joy asks us to be vulnerable. Joy invites us to be present.
When in joy, we are in a state of love.
Sometimes it’s easier to push away love than to receive it.
Think about it.
You laugh playing with your children. Your partner showers you with sweet messages. You receive praise at your job.
And suddenly you get overwhelmed with “What if...?!” scenarios.
So you run away from the loving moment. You play all the worst case scenarios in your mind.
When do YOU boldly embody joy?
As n’betweeners, many of us fall victim to constant worry. Every little thing is overanalyzed and has to be right or we’ll freak. We overthink.
We lose track of the moments of joy.
So we get S-T-U-C-K.
Obsessing over small matters, being afraid of upsetting someone, replaying scenarios in your head.
We want things to be done right, but it can become toxic. We harm ourselves when we fixate on how we’re “bad.”
These toxic thoughts are killing your joy.
Are you tired? You might feel trapped in a trauma-fog. Well, that fog has got a name and it’s called Internalized Oppression.
Let’s put an end to this unhealthy experience, and make space for your happiness.
Would you like to get closer towards yourself and live a more fulfilling life?
Well, I have something rather special to offer you.
I have been doing powerful 1-1 intensives. You spend a day with me, and we deepen on what is most tender within you. We work therapeutically. I create the agenda, I tailor it to your needs.
It’s been transformative, nourishing, and sweet to do these. It has been an absolute honor. Most of them happen in Colorado, but there is flexibility.
If this sound nourishing, do the following:
Send me an email and I'll send you a information booklet to learn more.
The intention is for you to get close to you, to intimately be with you, and to know who you are.
I believe you’re ready.
👉 Book a call with me, and we'll talk more about the details.
Sending you much love,
Nora
